Our estimate Good fit for walkers

Wellfit builds compact folding treadmills and walking pads, sold direct from $149.99 to $849.99 with free shipping across the continental US. Published tests rate the machines well on price, footprint and app support, and more cautiously for sustained running. Best for step-count and incline training in an apartment, bedroom or home office.

How we made this estimate

We have not run a Wellfit treadmill ourselves. This estimate is compiled from six published sources dated between January 2025 and October 2026 (two model-level tests by Treadmill Review Guru, a hands-on build report by The Gadgeteer, a brand-level assessment by Big Guy Treadmill Review, the 154-review Trustpilot pool and the 163-rating Amazon pool), plus Wellfit's own product, comparison, support, deals and refund pages, which we read on 10 October 2026.

Every price in this review was confirmed in a live cart on 10 October 2026. Where sources report different specs for the same machine, we say so rather than picking the flattering number.

What Wellfit actually sells

Wellfit is a direct-to-consumer treadmill brand trading as WELLFIT Fitness Inc. from Dover, Delaware. Its catalogue is narrow on purpose: eight folding treadmills and walking pads, a short accessories line of mats, extension cords and incline foot pads, and nothing else.

The range splits into two halves. At the bottom sit fold-flat walking pads such as the TM037 and TM037 Pink, which weigh around 43 lb and slide under a desk or a sofa. At the top sit the TM029 Pro and TM029 FOLD, 20-inch-wide machines rated to 500 lb that fold upright rather than flat.

Every model ships with Bluetooth and a free Wellfit app that carries no subscription fee. The app adds voice control, guided sessions and links to Zwift, Kinomap, Peloton and Apple Health, which is unusual at these prices. Wellfit says it runs seven US warehouses in California, New Jersey, Texas and Georgia, which is how it quotes a one-to-five-day delivery window.

How the specialist tests scored it

The published tests agree on the shape of the product more than they agree on the score. Every source we read rates the folding mechanism and the footprint highly, and every source narrows its recommendation to walking and light jogging rather than running.

Treadmill Review Guru's TM029 report is the most detailed of the set. It credits a 4.5 HP motor rated for roughly two hours of continuous use, 12 onboard programs with no subscription, a stable frame and quiet operation, and marks the machine down for a 53-inch usable belt and for needing partial disassembly to fold.

On the TM007, the same tester recommends it for fitness walkers adding incline and daily steps, and says plainly that it is not for fast running. The Gadgeteer's TM007 build report reaches the same place from a different direction: sturdy and quiet once assembled, but internal bed supports had shifted in transit and the belt needed re-tensioning before faster use.

Where the reviews disagree

The sources split on how much machine you are getting, and the gap is worth understanding before you compare Wellfit against a rival.

Motor figures are the clearest example. Wellfit's comparison page lists 3 HP, 4 HP and 4.5 HP brushless motors, and Treadmill Review Guru repeats those numbers; Big Guy Treadmill Review assesses continuous-duty output across the range at 1.5 to 2.5 CHP. Peak horsepower and continuous-duty horsepower are different measurements, so both figures can be accurate at once, and the continuous figure is the one that predicts how a motor behaves on a long session.

Capacity and incline differ the same way. Wellfit rates the TM029 Pro at 500 lb with 15 levels of auto incline, Amazon's listing carries the same 500 lb figure, and Treadmill Review Guru measured the incline topping out near 10.7%. Big Guy Treadmill Review treats rated capacities across budget brands as self-reported and advises a 250 lb working ceiling.

How to read the spec gap: size your space and your stride from the tested numbers, not the listed ones. Treadmill Review Guru measured the TM007 deck at 18 x 45 in and the unit at 103 lb, where Wellfit's comparison page lists 18 x 43 in and 92.62 lb. Plan for the bigger figure and you will not be surprised on delivery day.

What you'll actually pay

Wellfit's pricing works on standing automatic markdowns rather than codes. On 10 October 2026 we checked each model in a live cart and found the sale price applied with nothing entered, and the specialist tests from October 2025 quote the same list prices against those sale figures.

TM029 FOLD20 x 50 in500 lbAuto 15%$849.99$1,399.99

Judge Wellfit at the cart price, not the crossed-out one. At $149.99 the TM037 undercuts almost every walking pad with a handrail; at $749.99 the TM029 Pro is competing with the Horizon T101 and similar mid-range folders rather than with other sub-$300 pads, and the comparison gets harder.

Three things change the real total. Shipping is free with no minimum to the continental US, the store advertises tax-free checkout sitewide, and Klarna and Afterpay offer four interest-free instalments at 0% APR. Extended warranty plans are priced per model from $11.99 up to $110 for three years on the TM029 FOLD.

A handful of models also carry single-model discount codes on coupon sites, worth $20 to $60 on top of the cart price. The savings are small next to the automatic markdown, and each code works on one exact variant only, so check that the model name matches before you count on it.

Walking, jogging or running?

This is the decision that settles whether Wellfit is right for you, and the evidence points one way. Deck length is the limit, not the motor.

A 36-inch belt on the TM037 suits walking at a steady pace. The 43 to 45-inch decks on the TM007 and TM032 handle walking and light jogging, and Treadmill Review Guru explicitly advises against fast running on the TM007 because of stride length. Only the TM029 pair, at 50 and 55 inches, give enough belt for sustained jogging, and even there the tester called the 53-inch usable surface restrictive for experienced runners at speed.

Owner feedback lines up with that. Buyers who bought a Wellfit for walking report fewer problems than those who pushed a compact machine into daily running, which is what the continuous-duty motor ratings would predict.

If your training plan includes runs above roughly 7 mph or you are over 6 ft, the honest answer is that a longer-deck machine will serve you better. If your goal is 8,000 to 12,000 steps and some incline work indoors, the range is built for exactly that.

What works well

  • Price per spec: a 500 lb, 20 x 55 in auto-incline machine at $749.99 is hard to match, per the merchant's own cart and Treadmill Review Guru's TM029 report.
  • Footprint and weight: Treadmill Review Guru called the TM007 one of the smallest and lightest folding treadmills it has tested, at 103 lb.
  • App support with no subscription, including Zwift, Kinomap, Peloton and Apple Health links, confirmed on Wellfit's app page and in both specialist tests.
  • Delivery: free shipping with no minimum and a one-to-five-day continental US window from seven warehouses; Trustpilot buyers repeatedly single out fast dispatch.
  • Incline at low prices: auto incline to 12% on a $299.99 pad is rare in this bracket, per the merchant's comparison page.
  • Quiet running at walking and jogging speeds, reported by Treadmill Review Guru, The Gadgeteer and Amazon buyers alike.

What to know before you buy

  • Measure the deck against your stride. Decks run from 36 to 55 in, and the specialist tests narrow the shorter models to walking and light jogging.
  • Read the return terms before you unbox. Wellfit's refund policy applies a 20% restocking charge to non-defective returns, so decide on fit from the spec sheet rather than on the belt.
  • Inspect the carton on arrival. The Gadgeteer found bed supports shifted in transit and the belt needing re-tensioning, so check alignment and tension before your first fast session.
  • Check warranty length for your exact model. Cover runs 12 to 36 months and varies by machine; Treadmill Review Guru recorded three years on the TM029 frame and 180 days on other parts.
  • Expect to raise faults early. Some Trustpilot buyers report motor issues after months of regular use, so log any noise or error code inside the warranty window rather than waiting.
  • Folding is not automatic on the TM029 Pro. It needs partial disassembly, so plan storage around that if you are packing it away daily.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Shipping is the strongest part of the package. Free delivery applies to every order with no spend threshold, limited to the continental US, and Wellfit's seven-warehouse network backs the one-to-five-day estimate. Puerto Rico and non-US addresses are excluded from the US store, though Wellfit operates separate storefronts for the UK and Germany.

Returns are the part to read closely before you order. The window is 30 days, and the published refund policy states that non-defective returns carry a 20% charge, items must be unused and in original packaging, and sale items and parts are not returnable. Defective items inside 30 days are returned free and replaced.

Because most of the catalogue sits on a sale price, the clause excluding sale items is the one to confirm in writing with support before you order. Ask whether your specific model qualifies for a change-of-mind return and keep the reply.

Support is email, phone and live chat: [email protected] and +1 (281) 777-8190, with stated hours of 11:00 to 20:00 ET Monday to Friday for marketplace orders. Trustpilot's positive reviews consistently credit fast replies and free replacement parts, which is a genuine mark in the brand's favour at this price.

Who should buy a Wellfit

A good fit if you:

  • Walk or jog indoors and want incline without paying gym-brand prices.
  • Live in an apartment or share a room, and need the machine to fold flat or stand upright.
  • Want a treadmill under a standing desk, where the fold-flat TM037 models are built for the job.
  • Are starting out and would rather test the habit at $150 to $450 than at $1,500.
  • Want app-guided sessions and Zwift or Apple Health syncing without a monthly fee.

Worth comparing alternatives if you:

  • Run regularly above 7 mph or train for distance, where a 55-inch-plus deck and a verified continuous-duty motor matter more than price.
  • Are over 250 lb and plan daily running rather than walking, given how sources differ on rated capacity.
  • Want a long parts warranty as your main safeguard rather than fast support and cheap replacement.
  • Need in-home assembly or white-glove delivery as part of the purchase.

Alternatives worth comparing

Horizon T101. Widely rated the pick under $1,000 among folding treadmills, with a 55-inch deck and genuine auto-folding. Prefer it over the TM029 Pro if you run several times a week and want a long-standing brand's parts network, and accept that you lose Wellfit's incline-for-the-money advantage.

Sunny Health & Fitness SF-T4400. Often named the best incline option under $600 and usually sold under $500, with a 49-inch deck and manual incline. Prefer it if you want a known budget brand and are content adjusting incline by hand rather than by remote.

UREVO 2-in-1 or Strol 2E. The closest direct rival to Wellfit's fold-flat pads, with a handlebar that drops level for under-desk use. Prefer it if your use is almost entirely desk walking and you do not need 12 to 15% auto incline.

Questions buyers ask

Is Wellfit a legitimate treadmill brand?

Yes. Wellfit trades as WELLFIT Fitness Inc. from Dover, Delaware, publishes a phone number and support email, sells through its own store and Amazon, and holds a 3.7 out of 5 Trustpilot score across 154 reviews with a 4.5 out of 5 Amazon rating across 163 ratings on the TM029 listing.

Can you run on a Wellfit treadmill?

On the TM029 Pro and TM029 FOLD you can jog and run at moderate pace, with 50 and 55-inch decks and a 10 mph top speed. On the shorter models, Treadmill Review Guru recommends walking and light jogging only, because a 36 to 45-inch belt limits stride length.

How much does a Wellfit treadmill cost?

Cart prices ran from $149.99 for the TM037 folding treadmill to $849.99 for the TM029 FOLD when we checked on 10 October 2026, against list prices of $399.99 and $1,399.99. Klarna and Afterpay split any order into four interest-free instalments at 0% APR.

Does Wellfit offer free shipping?

Yes. Free shipping applies to every order with no minimum spend, delivered in one to five days within the continental US from Wellfit's seven US warehouses. Puerto Rico and addresses outside the US are not covered by the US store.

What is Wellfit's return policy?

Thirty days from purchase for unused items in original packaging. Defective items are returned free inside that window, while non-defective returns carry a 20% charge, and the policy lists sale items and replacement parts as non-returnable, so confirm your model's eligibility with support first.

How long is the Wellfit warranty?

Wellfit advertises 12 to 36 months of free cover, with the length set by model. Treadmill Review Guru recorded three years on the TM029 frame and 180 days on other parts, and Wellfit sells extended plans from $11.99 to $110 depending on model and term.

Bottom line

Wellfit sells more treadmill per dollar than most brands at its prices, and the published tests back that on footprint, incline, app support and delivery. Our confidence in the walking and light-jogging recommendation is high, because every source agrees; our confidence drops for daily running and for heavier users, where the sources genuinely differ on motor and capacity figures.

Buy it as a walking and incline machine for a small room and you are likely to be pleased with what $150 to $450 gets you. Check the deck length against your stride and confirm the return terms for your model before you order, and the main risks are handled. Automatic sale pricing is running across the whole catalogue right now, with the deepest reductions on the two 500 lb TM029 models.
